I have done 'stop checks' on Stiglitz with no traffic around, from approx 55mph, and never felt any ABS bounce... Do ALL HHR's have ABS?

Beat me to it Lucky, HHR's so equipped, have 4-wheel ABS.

Like I said in my PM Kev, get a second opinion, but I've heard that sound before. And all three times it has been a bad front hub, 2 rights and 1 left so far.

ABS was optional on LS and 1LT models from 2006-2008, and standard on all trim levels for the 2009-2011 model years.

(It was always standard on 2LT and SS trim levels)

If your car has abs a yellow abs light will light on each key cycle as the system does a self test.

If the "ABS" lights up on the dash when you turn the ignition to "on", you got it. Also, look under the hood for a large piece of equipment with brake lines and electrical connections in front of the Darth Vader hood, That's the ABS controller.
It is only supposed to do anything if not all wheels are turning at the same speed, I.E.: you stomp on the brakes when one tire is on a patch of ice.

Went down and ran a cycle on the Key.

Did not see an ABS Icon on my Instrument Panel.. Does that mean what I think it does? I don't have ABS?

And if you want to be absolutely 100% certain, look at your build tag in the glove box.

If you don't see "JM4" listed, you have straight brakes, no ABS.

I've heard this before, if you are recording this from the drives seat then most assuredly the right front hub, but I always recommend replace both fronts, and that was not snark, just Don in his own way!! acquired reading to filter his responces. he is very knowlegable about these HHR's

Actually recorded that from the passenger side floorboard.
