Turn signal doesn’t engage when using left turn signal

Turn signal doesn’t engage when using left turn signal

When I engage the left turn signal by pulling it down, the spring just pushes it back up. Kinda like I guess the locking mehanism doesn’t engage. Do I have a bad lever? do I need a new one if it is bad?

is a multi switch the same as the lever or some other mechanism that’s inside the steering column thing? 😁

This how-to shows how to remove and replace the switch, it is a repair for a different problem. There are several youtube vids if you get youtube in your country.
