Turn Signal Issues
I plan to Frank. I always get my way in the end. They have had a high turn over rate in the past in the service department. I would be dealing with one person, come back in another few days and that person was gone (fired, laid off, whatever) and I would have to start over with someone else. But they must have their staffing issues resolved because they have actually had the same manager in the service department for a year and a half.
They are nice guys and I'm not trying to bad mouth them. I just want them to realize I'm not one of these women who takes their car in for every ding they hear. I've had to many junk cars with problems to not know a real problem when I hear it or see it.

turns signals should cancel with only a small amount of wheel turn(45 deg). if it stays on, its a definately a saftey issue. the dealer needs to take you seriously. shame. our used hhr did the same and haldimand motors replace the combination lever. on gmpartsdirect the part is around $50. its a cheap repair and i believe can be done in 1/2 hr. no excuse not to take u for real.
I bought an HHR with 31k miles on it. The turn signal would not always cancel when I turned right. After removing the stalk, I figured out that something plastic in the stalk had worn down, and couldn't be fixed, so I replaced the stalk, which cost about $28. Now at 57k miles, it sometimes won't cancel when right turning again.
Some parts should not be made out of plastic. I guess the right turn part of the stalk is only good for 30k miles.
I'll probably get another one when I get distressed enough.
This is the only part on the car to malfunction twice.
