My 2008 HHR has quit cancelling turn signals after a turn. About 70K on it and they always worked fine. This was usually the piece on the backside of the steering wheel on the pre-air bag cars. This is obviously something else with the air bags. Has anyone had this happen or have any ideas of how to fix it?

 

Replace the left multi switch, ensure the white plastic tab engages

It is exactly the same as last century cars.

 

That looks simple enough. If I can figure out where to get the part I will give it a shot next weekend. And no, not exactly like last centurys cars. At least non as old as I play with. 1955 thru 1972 Chevys.
