Alright, so I checked it today and it idled fine when it was cold, no codes, but then once it got up to temp I got another pending code and it idled a little rough. I got a code different from last time though, which is now multiple cylinder misfire. I checked all the connectors and wires, no issues with that. Could it still be one coil pack, or could it be from reused insulators that seemed to be worn for the fuel injectors? I guess I'll start with the cheaper of the two and just order new insulators?

 

If you don't post the actual code numbers, then it would just be a wild guess.

FYI. There is no code for "multiple cylinder misfire"
Here's the misfire codes listed:
P0300 Engine Misfire Detected
P0301 Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected
P0302 Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected
P0303 Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected
P0304 Cylinder 4 Misfire Detected

 

It was p0300, sorry. On my obd2 scanner it shows as multiple cylinder misfire

Okay, installed the new seals today and still getting the pending p0300 code, but now I'm also getting the pending p0172 code as well. Could it be a faulty injector, or could it be the Vapor Canister Purge Valve Solenoid? I read on other threads that it could be that.

 

P0172 would be either MAF sensor or fuel delivery problem, it could be the flex pipe broken, or low fuel pressure, have a look ...

I cleaned the MAF sensor today, didn't fix the codes. I was looking at the O2 sensor voltages, and the upstream one (B1S1) was fluctuating from 0.05v to 0.8v with 0 to -5%. The downstream (B1S2) was staying at 0.75-0.8v with 99.2%. Is this normal for the O2 sensors?

 

Did you look at the flex pipe?

You can weld or clamp in a new flex pipe after you cut the existing pipe.

 

Yes, I replaced that about two years ago

 

Oxygen sensors will fluctuate voltage if working correctly.
Do your homework on both O2 sensor voltage differentials.
