Video of my car noise

I have a 2007 LS auto trans. This noise can be heard inside the drivers side wheel well. You can't hear it from the top under the hood.

The video link appears to be broken or not working.

Could you try and describe the noise.

Is it a buzzing, rumbling, rattling, or scraping sound?

He has an LS Nightwalker, so that means a 2.2L L-61 engine but the mileage on the vehicle and the conditions under which thr noise occurs would be handy to know too.

For some reason my i-Pad doesn't like his video link, but based on your description, I'd hazard a guess and say it's the flex pipe or a broken airbox bracket.

I'll go back and edit his post to put the LS in capital letters, missed it the first time I read the post too.

Hi jawscardodger,

Thank you for the video. I understand that you have a noise coming from one of the wheels on your HHR. I cannot guarantee anything but please feel free to contact us if you would like for us to look further into this. We can be reached via private message if any extra help is needed.

My first thought would be a transmission valve rattle. Does the noise change when put in gear or go away while driving.

Is the noise there when cold or only after the engine warms up?

I had a purge valve make a noise close to that but was only there once the engine warmed up and the purge valve was operating.

I had the car on jack stands. Its there in in gear or not hot or cold its there all the time. But you can only hear it if you put your ear down by the wheel well standing next to the car you can't hear it
