Dash light came on and dealer said it's the vent valve and 02 censor.

What are the chances of both at the same time?

Not impossible for that to happen, did you get the code numbers by any chance?

With the codes it'll be easier to deduce whether they're interrelated failures, or just a coincidence.

 

code p0449 and p0139.

valve = $30, harness $36, Sensor $105 and labor $195.

I wonder if this is the norm ?

a quote of over $400 just for front brakes.?

It seems if you use gold or cheap brake parts they only last a year here in the north country.

Did you hold your hands up when you walk in the stealership ? Get your own parts and fix it yourself ,I am sure you will get a lot of help with your problem here ,anyway the code for vent valve is when your filling up with gas and the pump clicks off ,do not push more gas in it ,this why your vent valve is messed up ... I am sure someone will chime in ,Good luck

 

I don't see a P0139 on the DTC list.

 

I'd be looking at the flex pipe before I started throwing parts around.
