Just got a phone call from my fiance...

Add another leaky 2006 HHR to the growing list!!!

Her car was parked outside overnight and after a seriously heavy rain, she woke up to a passenger floor soaked deep with rain water!

So, after reading the nearly 30+ pages in this thread, sounds like the same darn cowling / cabin filter issue.

I did not have time to read all 30+ pages of complaints yet so if there is a TSB that I can print out regarding this issue when we drop her HHR off at the dealership, it would be helpful?

After having two blower motors replaced (burnt out by water), and having a soaked carpet on the passenger's side, My dealer finally put in a "deflector" as per his service bulliten.
Well, no more wet carpet and the blower motor is still working.
That's all I care about.
Now if only I could get a set of working rotors and calipers that don't warp when applied during rain......

I had this problem and it was the body seam to the right of the butyl patch under the wiper panel. Sealed this and now everything is dry.

Don't have any certifications. I have thought about it tho.
Back in '94 or so when I worked at AutoZone I was approached by a service manager at a Nissan dealer about working there.

I could kick myself in the A$$ for not at least talking to them.
