Water tragedy...

So a few weeks ago my 08 2.2L got caught in a flood, 5” in 4 hours. No interior damage but water got sucked up into the intake. Changed the air filter, spark plugs, cycled the oil. Very quick development of rust ate my exhaust pipe underneath too, but that’s fixed. I just ran a compression test finally though and the numbers were troubling. 85-90psi all across. I followed all the instructions and made sure to floor the gas when cranking it. Any input on what these numbers suggest specifically or other straigh-foward things I can check to see how bad the damage really is? I have put way too much money in this car previously so if the seals are gone it’s getting scrapped.

I would be trying a different tester. If you get the same results, it's either pistons/rings/cylinder walls, or valves/seats. A cylinder leak down test would tell you which.
