well changed my O2 sensors, AGAIN

hello All,

hope everyone is well! havent been able to get on much nor do work on the car..

got a 06 2lt 2.4liter with 98,000 miles. got the ruff idle back after changing the thermostat and replacing with dexcool orange as well as me changing my 02 sensors a 2nd time. changed the VVT's about 2 years ago.

got my codes read at autozone and was told P0171 and the guy said OH THATS AN INTAKE MANIFOLD ISSUE! i answered im SURE it is! i better think of selling my car.

so just for giggles i stopped at advance auto on my way home. the guy actually knew how to use the reader. at first he said your car is throwing all different codes. go and put the gas cap on correctly. so i did. he said much better. the car was running ruff so he put it to read the graph. he said try a tune up. better answer. i did not buy anything.

then when i got home i did a search on here and saw that i should clean the MAF sensor and check the vacuum lines into the intake. then check the fuse box make sure all the connections are tight. well that is what i will do tomorrow. it has been really humid around these parts as of late and supposed to break tomorrow so after work i will look. any other suggestions?

then my 11 3.5liter Sorento with 34k miles is having a/c issues. i noticed that the a/c was not blowing cold so i added 134a. then when i was going out after, i notice a blast of gas from underneath the passenger side. then a few moments later again. i am guessing that one of the o-rings is leaking and they need replacing. i know i have to do the evaporator and that filter piece(forgot the name)once the system has been opened. i was also thinking of doing the dye with the black light to confirm the leak. do i sound on track?

thanks!

87z16- As far as your Sorento A/C, I think you are referring to the "Dryer"......

The MAF hates to be dirty or oily, I give it a spray ever 6 months

I would ask the guy exactly what a "tune-up" is these days? Oh, I know; you need to get a new computer every 10K. FYI the only regular maintenance parts are the spark plugs at 100K, if needed.
