I would try having code cleared and road test to see if it returns.

I would guess that something did not get reinstalled correctly with the wheel speed sensor on the side you worked on.

According to this thread I found, https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/show...l+speed+sensor

The ABS sensor and pickup ring is part of the hub assembly. Perhaps the parts place gave you the part for a non ABS HHR.

Did you by chance turn the key to the "on" position while you had the hub taken apart. If the sensor was unplugged at that point,it could have stored a code. Not for sure on this, but trying to throw out another possibility.

If you disassembled the sensor ring on the hub at anytime, you have damaged the speed sensor and the sensor will continue to throw codes. See if you can get rockauto to warranty it out and when you install the new one make sure you do not take apart the sensor ring. The correct Raybestos part for HHR with ABS is 713206, this should be the OEM hub assembly as Raybestos(Affinia) buys from KBI(GM OEM Hub supplier).

You mean you removed the sensor ring from the NEW bearing and re installed it? If so, why? That probably destroyed the thing. If you mean you had to remove the sensor ring from the OLD hub the install it on the NEW hub, then you got the wrong hub.
Or, did you mean you just unplugged the old hub, the plugged the new one in? Then check the plugging in job, and the key on when the hub was disconnected makes sense too.
RockAuto has a confusing way of listing the hubs.
