Sort of, but the pin usually breaks independently.

The pin is still good and I was able to put it back in, but it won't stay horizontal in the hole because the piece that it goes into seems to be broken. I guess I'll have to see where the other on is broken and see if I can get one good shifter from the 2 or stop at the dealer to see what they say.

That's not good! The key now turns all the way back and comes out without using the button under the column since I installed the new shifter. I'm just waiting on the dealer to get the recall parts to have it replaced.
