Window controls

How does the panal that contains the window controls come out? Are there any screws or bolts underneath it, or does it just pull up? I have been trying to remove it for years, but keep chickening out because I am afraid I am doing it wrong and will break something.

The reason-every body will DEFINITLY be impressed with my next mod-I promise

Pull out the rubber inset. There are two clips that need to pressed in witha small flat screwdriver while pulling up the cover. Then pry at the top of the cover to get a grip and pull there are two clips there also.

I finally got it out! I looked but didnt see where to press in with the screw driver, so I just pulled really hard. Now that it is out, I see the 2 small notches at the back. I am glad that the switches remained in the car. Now I have a chance to work on it in my garage.

I will post pictures when it is finished
