Last runs of the season on some bald radials. Getting more familiar with tire pressure/temps.

What size ?

Also this weekend the Mustang 2.3 EcoBoost that went 11.17 @ 121 MPH increased the NOS wet shot to 100, or maybe 125, & went 10.87 @ 125MPH...
So, maybe, just maybe , I might try a little NOS this year...

If I was keeping my 4.45 gearing I wouldve considered a 26" tire but I'm building a 4.05 trans for next year to handle the abuse so 24.5 it is

BTW Camaro>mustang

Wish I could afford a nice SS, even a 100% stock one, some of you guys are hitting 1/4 mile faster than I can hit 1/8 mile out of my stock 2.2L. Of course that's with hard economy street tires that just sit & spin when I press the gas pedal a smidge to quickly. Not really complaining though, it's got more get-up-&-go that I imagined when I bought it, & it's faster than my Hyundai Accent, hitting 100kph about 4 seconds quicker, even with the extra weight!

Hey, everyone--I know this doesn't count, because I only run the mile, but I figured I'd post my timeslip from the Ohio Mile last September. Went 153 mph, which was a new record in the G/BGALT (1.5- to 2.01-liter blown gas altered) class. The guys at ZZP recently switched the car over to ethanol from gas (I'm now using VP's C85), and the car made a dyno pull in February at 479 hp and 452 lb torque at 28.9 PSI (not sure how readable the dyno-sheet photo is). So I'm hoping to both break my 153 mark and the current G/BFALT (blown fuel altered) record, which stands at 131. Here's hoping!
