Whether you have "Keep me logged in" checked or not, this will always happen as the site will automatically log you off after 15 minutes of idle.
I've found out that if you don't want to "lose your place", park yourself in the link for "Who's online". This page refreshes itself every couple of minutes, and the site won't kick you off. Just make sure you open a new window if you are going to be surfing elsewhere on the net, if not you will still get the boot.

Try this:

1)Clear your internet history and cookies.
2)Log in to www.chevyhhr.net. Be sure and click the box that says "remember me".
3)This should put you onto the Home Page.
4)On the right side of the screen click one of the recent threads and let the page load completely.
5)After the page has totally loaded click the New Posts link on the links bar.
6)It will ask you to log in again. Once again make sure you click the remember me box. Not sure if it makes a difference, but I always log in to the small log in box on the top right not the big box in the middle of the page.

This should get you to where you will always be logged in until you clear your history and cookies again. Then you will have to repeat these steps.

Why isn't johnnyb responding to this thread? There should only be one step.

1. Log in

lol half the time I still can't even get to the site. Why isn't it as reliable as CSS?

If other people get to the site reliably then it's not the site at fault for reaching it or not. Now once your there if your having logging in issues that can be the site.

This site has been one of the most reliable sites I use, I have never had any issues reaching the site or logging on. I don't even have to log on since it remembers my computer and logs me in when I reach it.

Well I cant get to the site half the time, its not a problem with the site exactly, its a problem with the DNS. ( domain name service)
The chevyhhr.net name is often not connected to the server for some reason. If I use the numeric address http://69.73.161.158/chevyhhr/forums/ then I can connect to the site fine. However then all code on the site referencing the domain name doesnt work and pictures and some links are broken. It will do in a pinch though as I can still navigate (very slowly) and read posts.

I have been the only member on the forum all day. I used this web address to get online. http://69.73.161.158/chevyhhr/forums Click it to get a totally different chevyhhr.net experience.

I have that referenced link saved and tried to use it earlier today (when I couldn't access with the normal method from my "favorites". It did not work either.
