Getting "logged off"

I've noticed a very aggrivating quirk in the site. If I am not constantly busy moving between the threads in the forums, I will be logged off after a few minutes. When I log back on of course, all of the previously unread stuff is no longer flagged as new. Is there something that can be changed to correct this?

Maybe it is I had this problem for about a month after I upgraded to my premium membership.

Are you clicking the "Remember Me" box when you're logging in to the site? This fixed the problem of me getting logged out after about 10 minutes or so but it takes me a few tries before it actually logs me in though

it's probably a cookies thing with your browser. I am not premium but i do not have the issue.

This site has always been set up to do this. If you sit idle on a page for 15 minutes, then the site will automatically log you off. It is not a Premium vs non thing, nothing to do with cookies or browsers.

If you know you will not be navigating on the site for the above mentioned 15 minutes, and don't want to lose your "place" w/ unread posts, then park it in "Who's Online" under the tab "Quick Links" next to "Log Off". The page "Who's Online" constantly refreshes itself every minute or so, so the site will think you are navigating places, and therefor will not kick you off at any time. Just make sure you leave the page open......... minimize page and open new page.
