Question Visitor Messages

Okay, so I've received some of these visitor messages. Being a moderator I don't know if this is a case for just us (the mods) or everyone. Anyhow, I went to delete the messages I have already received. It gives me the option to Soft delete or to Physically remove message. So I selected to physically remove the message since I'm not going to need to read these messages again. It asks for my password to verify and then I get brought back to the Login screen where I have to sign in again. The messages are deleted but why do I need to Log in again. This happened twice

I must be in Daytons party group too because it did it to me when I moved a thread.

Also I had to re-log in to every forum when I entered it afterwards until I cleared my cookies and history.

I thought I was being punished for something.

OK, so I went to delete visitor messages, and selected to physically delete as well--I was not booted out, but it still left a link of who posted, but that I deleted the message?
