We apologize for the rash of spammers in the last couple of days. We have implemented a number of measures to prevent additional spammers from signing up. Sadly, it appears there were a number of dormant accounts already registered by spammers, that hadn't been used until this week. Your site team haven't changed, they are still all here to support you guys and we're here, helping them too!

Ahh, but yes it has. It changed 01-07-2013 when your team acquired the site over from JonyyB. I don't recall ever seeing this type of problem on this site prior......

Not to the extent that I saw this morning before bots were banned the threads were cleared.....reminded me of 'New age GTO'....that's a site that's out of control with spambots.

 

So who bought us? What are their privacy policies? Etc if it is a forums buyout company, they should have been better prepared for this. Defiantly. Yes defiantly thinking about jumping ship. I am not Hawaiian, and can't stand spam!

Really? Wow! A mistake was made and bots got let out. It happens. IB staff will fix it.
