So am I but I've seen these 'takovers' in the past with other sites and it will never be the same. Different interests. JonyyB started this site because of his interest in the then upcomming new Chevy HHR. Internet Brands' interest is to "continue to significantly grow its audience, advertisers, and revenues." (quote is directly from their website) Like it or not, it's the so-called 'sign of the times'.
And I tried to buy it before that, It seems it was a power thing with Jonel. Things really could have been different here had actual ENTHUSIASTS taken over long ago. The site would not have lost so many members that actually cared...

It was simply spammers lol. When I came in here last night I opened one of the spam threads and recognized it so I flagged it. I did not post in it but it already had like 5 reply's. I then noticed that 90% of the first page was spam and that people were still replying which was just keeping them at the top and quickly climbing to the 100% level.
My thread and title were to try to get people to open it and to hopefully realize that they should report it and not feed into it as it just keeps them at the top. Which in turn pushes the actual user threads down to the bottom where they get overlooked. But I think the point has now been made.
