Defiantly...definitely a rebel!

For what it's worth, I dig the new upgrades that I've noticed, like the site and I'll be here as long as I have my HHR.

But whatever. I'm here sink or swim. Nothing changed for me and no running away.
So am I but I've seen these 'takovers' in the past with other sites and it will never be the same. Different interests. JonyyB started this site because of his interest in the then upcomming new Chevy HHR. Internet Brands' interest is to "continue to significantly grow its audience, advertisers, and revenues." (quote is directly from their website) Like it or not, it's the so-called 'sign of the times'.

Had JonyyB done what I asked 4 years ago, he could have made money on this site too. He just quit coming to the site and doing what needed to be done. This was a necessary change!

I offered to buy the site many times. Was never given a price. I would have done the same as IB had I been able to obtain it. Business is business and if your not out to make money, then you don't understand that.

I had to wait almost a week before my new account was accepted when I joined. I could not post not did I ever get a response when I tried to ask what the deal was.

Now however it seems that the spammers can join with no issue?

BTW I want my thread title back

No.

They didn't join. These are previously banned bots that were mistakenly put into the registered users group during an update. Check their join dates.

I do understand that. My quoute was about the interest aspect. Unfortunately, the money aspect always seems to take precedence.

So here's how members can help. When you read an obvious spam thread report it using the red triangle. When a thread is reported I get a message on my phone. Then I can come on and ban them and delete the thread.

Like I said there are 20K bots now in the registered users group. There will be more spam and I would appreciate your help. Until they figure out how to move these bots back into the banned user group, this is going to be an issue. If you don't want to help then don't, it's up to you.
