Cruise Control Options

Looking for the Cruise Control buttons for an '07 or newer G5. Not sure what all fit the car. I know G5/Cobalt/HHR and I believe Solstice fit. I think that maybe the Torrent and G6 buttons will work too (I know the wheels are different but I think the buttons are the same)

Does anyone know what cars work and don't work here? Also, how much are the raised buttons and cover? I found a few different part numbers, not sure which one to follow? I have the harness ordered and it should be in soon. Just need the rest lol. I have access to a Tech II so I can turn it on.

On a side note, anyone have a spare laying around that I could buy?

They have changed the wiring a couple times. You may find that plugs do not match, or wires may need to be moved. Your best bet is to actually get the whole steering wheel.
Also, chev lighting is bluish while pontiac is red.
I put a G6 leather wheel on my HHR, works fine except for the red button lighting. Looking at the switches, they were not cross-compatible, so I had to swap the whole wheel.

I got a G8 wheel off of ebay thinking that I could swap out wheels and gain audio controls. What I didn't realize until it showed up is that the G8 cruise control is not on the wheel.

Yeah I know I can X the G8 wheel off my list. You are correct about no cruise on the wheel. I own a G8. The Cruise is on the stalk. Love my G8.

Well, if you are ever looking for a spare leather wheel with audio controls only for your G8, let me know.

Im not saying for sure that it wont work, just that it didnt for me. Im not sure of the model year of the parts I used. Just that it would better to check, not buy blindly off ebay or something. FYI

I found some HHR switches. I am just going to swap the raido and cruise so it will at least be one color on the steering wheel. I don't care if both are blue and then the rest of the car is the Pontiac orange/red color LED backlighting. We will see how it works out.
