so... im listening to metallica the other day, and my radio starts turning up on its own... it turns itself from 25 to 35 then it restarts the track... then it mutes and does it all again??????

So are you mad because your radio turned it up or started the track over? Either way, it's still Metallica.........

lol, its my headbangin, remember when cd. but the radio has started doing all kinds of weird things. when i start the hhr the radio mutes itself. it will turn itself up and down of its own free will... something aint right here. btw i have the barebones stock radio.

 

well the scv (speed control volume) would explain it turning up on its own...but for the rest of that...no idea!!!

 

Could it be a loose ground???
I know when there is a loose ground wire, all kinds of weird things happen.
