Possessed?

My 08 Panel is starting to worry me. When the headlights are on, all the dash lights and the headlights flicker. I've also noticed that when I turn on the wipers to the intermittent setting the wipers operate fast for two or three swiped then go intermittent. The other day I started the vehicle with the remote start, then when I got in the ignition switch would not turn. Had to open the hood to kill the vehicle then when I got back in the car started with the key. I'm leaning toward BCM problems. Suggestions/comments anyone?

My good thought for you

I hope that you are still under the bumper-to-bumper warranty. If not, I pray that you have a steady job with a good income. This does sound like the computer module (I'm a doctor with a day off from the ER, not a mechanic), and I can just imagine what replacing one might cost. Given the possible variations in models and settings, I would be scared to get this from a junk yard.

If it's an '08 shouldn't it still be under warranty? It could be BCM, fuse panel or connectors but it should be in GM's ball park for repairs I would think.

Approach vehicle with caution, have stake, hammer, and holy water at the ready....just kidding a bit. Sounds like an issue with the BCM, possibly triggered by low battery voltage.
