For those campers who may come to this event... as I promised before, I did send out an email tonight to a number of local campgrounds to see if there was one that wanted to host the tent, cabin or RV campers for this upcoming event. I will send out the results when all have replied. So if you are interested, please let me know so I will know how to reply on how many potential sites the forum members would need.

Yes, event is still on. Having a bit of an issue with cabin reservation, but should have that resolved in the next few days. Mostly, this is an issue with the required deposit and how to cover it without one person having to take responsibility for it.

Is there a web page yet on this event? Times, dates, locations on all aspects such as hotels that will give us a discount as a group? At the last meeting of the MidtnHHR group I was asked to get together all this info so I could present it to our club. There are a few interested in comming. The event is on. April 24-26. Arrangements are being made for two large cabins - sleeping up to 20 persons each. Dinner at Dolly's Dixie Stampede on Saturday night. Go-kart racing on Friday night. Driving the Tail of the Dragon on Saturday afternoon.

I'm trying to get the details worked out on how the cabins will be paid for - a security deposit is required on each and would like to have everyone planning to commit pay part as a way to confirm your spot. I personally cannot afford to foot the entire security deposit required, and don't feel any one else should be expected to. So ... much more information is forthcoming in just a few days.

I have not set up a site yet as I wanted to be able to include the specifics on the cabin rental.

Thanks! I will do that! I have a lot of time off over the holidays, so hope to be able to get a lot more work done and start getting the promotion kicked into high gear.
