Canadian HHR visiting - July 28th (10 days)

I will be leaving Tampa, at 9am, on Tues July 31 to go down to Cape Coral to met our Northern Friends.
I will be at the HESS Station on the South Side of the State Fair Grounds.
This at the intersection of 301 and Martin Luther King Blvd.
I will be there from 8:30am to 9am and leaving at 9am.
This invite is for anyone that would like to go down for a lunch and meet.
Members and Guests are all invited.

Hello all, just got back from Cape Coral. It rained half the way down there and three fourths the way back.
I was the only FL Member there. Donna and Greg Cox are really nice people, as are their two boys age 10 and 7.
When I arrived at the house that they were staying at, the boys wanted to see the Orange HHR, Donna wanted to see all and to hear the horn, Greg was intrested in all as well. We compaired the 2 HHR's mine an 06, theirs an 07.
They have only had the HHR for about a month, and they LOVE it, except for a ticking in the engine, yep it ticks! Donna made a list of where I got all of NEMO's stuff, she wants appearance, He (Greg) wants performance.
A few pics we taken and off to Lunch we went.
We went to Perkins for lunch and then off to The Black Cow for IceCream, boy those two little boys are bottomless pits.
We then went back to the house and dropped Greg and the boys off, and Donna and I drove our HHR's to Pep Boys! A Child in a Candy Store! Donna was wanting a certian tag holder, did not find, but found a lot of different things. She will return there and has names of other places to look.
Before we said good bye, I found out that from Aug 7-14 they will be in Kissimmee.
I will be PMing that info to Stovebolt HHR. Maybe the HHR's in that area can get together with them for a Dinner or something. I am going to be in TN from the 6-8 or 9, so I will not be able to attend.
They all were so thrilled to see another HHR owner and to talk with me about the HHR. I hope you guys and gals in that area can meet them, they are some of the nicest people I have met from this Fourm.
Plus I have never met/seen an HHR from Canada. The travels NEMO and Fireball must have talked about while we were not around.

Hi All,
Sorry we missed Miami. It had rained quite a bit and we decided to enjoy our last days of sun in Cape Coral.
We are now in Kissimmee. We have had a wonderful vacation. Karen, it was wonderful meeting you. We had fun and guess what, I got the plate covers I wanted! I haven't put the flames on as yet, but that will come. I also got the name "Fireball" that I wanted and we will install that on the back window. It is a bit bigger than we wanted so we'll have to figure out where to put it. Don't want to block the brake light!!
The plate covers have the palm trees on either side and a personalized inscription that reads "Rather Be In Florida" on the bottom of the plate. I might not be too popular back at home! Oh well, we love the plates. I'll send pics when we return.
