Eric is right, but I will be glad to post up our plans for the day, as soon as we find out. Last year Tim found a way of letting me know of good meeting places along the way.

That map is wicked! I love driving the twisties especially during fall. Well, at least in my old V6... IMO, those standard HHR breaks and the torque has a way too slow reaction for any kind of AGGRESSIVE twisty driving... Don't know about 4 days straight but I am definitely interested in a meet and greet.

Trust me, when the crotch rockets behind me give me a thumbs up, and the people in front of me pull over because I'm squealing tires around every corner. The hhr has plenty of torque. But then again my car runs hard

Cool TOTD Meet Aug 2012

TO: Basebase and Foolmoon-design:
I work night shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM in Alcoa, TN which is about 50miles east of Sweetwater, TN (HHR group hotel location). I would hate to drive to Sweetwater and find out that you guys have already departed and have no idea where are you heading to for the day. A rough schedule of events may be helpful, that way I know if I should join the HHR group for a few hours and then go to sleep, or go to sleep first and then joint the group.

(I could also PM you my cell phone number and perhaps get a hold of you guys if you are already gone before I get there).

That may work. One of us could call you before we depart. I know we usually meet at the hotel lobby for breakfast around 8am till ablout 10am first. Like I said we usually all have breakfast together then come up with a plan for the day before we leave. I remember last year after all the cruising we would all just hang out in the parking lot and hotel lobby to talk about anything and everything then all leave for dinner together. So we are always doing something from sun up to sundown.

Got your pm. Since I'm in Tennessee, my phone might work better. I know last year some people had signal issues in the mountains. I told my wife for Christmas this year I want a 24x36" caravan photo from zeephoto of all of us cruising.

There are dead spots all around the Dragon. Few phones pick up well. I know my phone works at Deals Gap Station and at Fontana Dam but from the lake and in between is dead.
