Well guys I am sorry to say I will not be able to make it... I had to have emergency surgery on a Hernia I had... it was fine till a few days ago when it got stuck and would not go back in they were worried the intestines would become twisted.. so Monday at 7am I went and had the surgery done...I am in a serious amount of pain and the Dr said "No Driving" for at least a week maybe longer
I will be thinking of you guys and I hope you all have a great time and stay safe and ticket free :)
Thanks
Vince!!!
Had a great time today! We did the dragon, cherolella skyway and 68. Took a bunch of pics will post up when I can.
We did have a casualty though. The SSR that was leading the pack, developed a small oil leak and the turns caused said oil to hit the passenger side header causing a small fire. Luckily we got the fire out. The car still runs, and should be back to the hotel shortly. Basebass went to rescue! Fingers crossed. I may be running home for tools before the night is out.
Will update. More great roads tomorrow.

I started to follow the SSR back to the hotel but it quit after driving approximately 300 feet down the hill.
He tried reprograming the cumputer but no such luck. We locked it and left it on the side of the Tail of the Dragon Road and drove to the Harley Davidson Gas Station in my HHR, about 12 miles south. They told us that the closest tow truck was in Maryville, about 25 miles south. We drove to Maryville and he asked me to stop by the U-Haul store to get a quote on a trailer and truck to tow the SSR to the Lone Star State.
I believe they wanted about $700.00 plus fees.
It was then getting late and I was due back to work that evening, so he told me to take off and get a few hours of sleep before reporting to work.
Hope he got his SSR back safe.
