Wow, it's quiet in here. What's everyone up to?

I'm setting up a diorama on a big table, using my Disney Pixar "Cars" cars. DH cut out a big Piston Cup race track today, and I'm making a dirt track for Radiator Springs out of the middle of it that was left over.

What's your obsession lately, and your holiday plans? I'm planning turkey at someone else's house, and painting some wooden photo ornaments.

Besides looking for work, I am writing my Dissertation and trying to stay on track to defending it in May 2011.

The Boy is coming out from Kentucky for T-day and staying the weekend and as usual, I am doing all the T-day cooking.

That is the extent of my exciting life ... back to writing ...

Me too. Had a root canal on the left side. Was waiting on the new crown to come in and then broke a tooth on the right side. $1000 and thats with dental insurance. Life is grand when you get old.

Sorry for the thread hijack.

Sorting through 224GB (yes, Giga-bytes) of music files. All sorts of file types, with and without DRM... Lots of duplicates, same songs with many file extensions. Some with DRM, some without. Zune and iPod.... what a mess.

Since we've stored the crickets here in Carolina for the winter, I've been polishing up the '37 for his birthday cruise this week. And to add to the root canal direction this thing is taking a quote from my dentist "oh sh*t!!!"....that was when he broke the file/bit thingy off in my jaw.....my reply was "mummph!!!!"....hate going to the dentist!
