Question Anything to do Friday?

I was thinking...........

where was I, Oh yes. I was wondering if there was anything to do on a Friday night in the Irvine area? I'll be heading down on the 8th for the class at Meguiars the next day and would hate to have dinner alone. The Olympics start that night so I don't want to be out all night, but meeting somewhere for dinner might be nice.

Sharon will be there also, so when I say alone, I mean just the two of us.

I actually have no school that night!
Where in Irvine you and Sharon going to be, Leon? I work at UC Irvine and I can tell you, around here, there isn't much (Irvine is very boring). The Spectrum has lots of restaurants. I'm in Santa Ana if you want inexpensive and GOOD Mexican food--I can think of a few places.

Personally, I'm getting tired of burgers and would prefer not to do AJ's for awhile.

but will do what the group wants!

I've been driving to LB from OC every Friday since early June--sure there is traffic, but it moves!

I timed it yesterday--with traffic from my 'hood (15+ miles) took me 20-25 minutes (normally about 15 on a Saturday morning).

But do agree, traffic to the OC seems a bit heavier!

I'm up for something if anyone is interested...if not, I have LOTS of homework to do and will see you all on Saturday morning.

We're staying at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Irvine-Orange County Airport. Not far from Meguiar's.
