The rumor about HHR production ceasing comes from a post on the home page. I don't think it will stop as the HHR is the ONLY suv that's sales are up. At least they consider it an suv. I cosider it a Cobalt with a different body (compact car).

I'm glad you talked about "spotter mirrors" . When I ran into the Marketing Manger for Cobalt/HHR , Brian Brown, we talked about improvements, I thought he said "spider mirrors". Apparently they will be on next year's panel HHR's. I suggested the back-up camera in addition.

 

I was out at the dealer this weekend and saw this guy on one of the SS's on their lot... I believe this must be the spotter mirror. Looks like it's designed specifically for the HHR mirror's curves.
