Maybe some of the Northern folks who are meeting us for lunch would be interested in going South with us down the Coast afterwards. We have quite a few do that at the Fiero run in October.

If some of the vendors on the board want to donate a few items to help draw a crowd, we could have a raffle Saturday night and either donate the proceeds to charity or to the forum.

And remember, there are still rooms available at the hotel at our discounted rate for Saturday night!!!

When are you planning on traveling to San Simeon, Lee? Do you want to meet us on Friday on the way over?

What about the guy from Kingsburg with the SSR? He's up your way. Has anyone heard from him. At one point I thought he was going to come over but he hasn't made reservations that I know of.

We are leaving Friday around 2ish (not sure) we both have to talk to our works and see if we can get off early. I'll post a more accurate time as soon as I find out... Whats your time schedule? Do you know yet?

Day Trip for Me

I'm planning on at least meeing up on Saturday - will look for you all in the Monterey area - and make the drive SOUTHBOUND on Hwy 1 back to San Simeon/Cayucos...

Plans are: Leave Kingsburg early A.M. on Saturday - west on Hwy 198 thru Coalinga to Hwy 101. North on 101 to Greenfield - then West on Monterey County Route G16 to Carmel. (G-16 is a DRIVERS road - nearly 50 miles of curves!) Then cap the drive off with 75 miles of Hwy 1...

(G-16 is so awesome - Piloti racing/driving Shoes even has a model named G-16.)

Some images from the area:
