If ya'll want shirts, I'll make shirts. No problem... I'm also working on the design for the other Run too so I can do one for us.

El Guapo. Where are you from in TN? I moved out here from Nashville about 4 years ago. We always did a big Fiero run on The Dragon every year. As a matter of fact it is coming up soon. It is called the Run For The Hills. The Dragon may be a little much for our HHRs but a good Smoky Mtn Run would be great! Natchez Trace is always fun too.

Small World...

I live just south of Nashville, about 40 miles in Columbia.
The trace is incredible..!! In about 2 months, it will be a great ride down the trace... I think I'll start trying to put one together... Come on back some time, we'll run the Trace, then we can have a bar-b-que/HHR car show...

I've been to Columbia. A buddy of mine down there has a really nice turbocharged Fiero. The first time I was ever down there was in the late-70s or early 80s. They had cleaned up an old landfill and made an outdoor music park there. There was a three day festival going on. I was traveling with Merle Haggard then and he was the closer.

We'll probably be moving back to my North GA home in a year of two. I still come to Nashville pretty often to keep all of my music contacts alive. I normally fly though so wouldn't have the HHR. Still would love to meet some owners there though. I'll wtch your Natchez run thread.

Did you ask for Manesh? We've got 10 rooms blocked. His desk staff is always screwing it up. Let me call over there and check on it for you.

Just what I figured... I blocked 10 rooms for us. The rest of the hotel is booked but our 10 are still available, minus the 6 that are already booked. You will make 7. Only 3 more! Who wants them!

Pnoy, Call back over there and tell them that you are part of Dale Houston's group. Alex is working tonight and she knows the deal if you want to do it tonight. If not, call Manesh tomorrow.

songman...I talked to manesh and he said the rooms are all booked. I even mentioned that its for the HHR meet on Sept and he confirmed that. I'll call back again. Thanks for checking for me.

Update:

Just got off the phone and friday's all booked? Rooms are available for Saturday and Sunday. I might just look for another hotel around the area. Do you have any other place you can recommend songman?

Hmmm... That is odd. I'll call over there today and see what made Alex think we still had rooms last night.

There is a Motel 6 down at the end of the same street that we have used for spillover in the past. It is an ex Holiday Inn so it is pretty nice. It is also the place where the restaurant and lounge is we will have dinner Saturday night. I called them and they do have rooms available. Friday night is $65.99 and Saturday night is 85.99 (plus tax). Of course, you can make a reservation at the Motel 6 for Friday night and then move to the Courtesy Inn for Saturday night if you want to get the cheaper rate.

The number for the Motel 6 is (805) 927-8691.
Here is their website: http://www.motel6.com/reservations/m...p?MotelId=1212
