i'm still in to lead the drive if it does go down. the final lunch hasn't been planned so either someone needs to plan something there, or everyone can kinda do their own thing for lunch, there are many great places to eat in the area. the starting location was originally set at the Chevy dealership in Buellton, but i don't have the details on that, we would need Bud to let us know how that would work, he is the one that had that one working. if not, there are a couple other large parking lots very near, also in Buellton that would work great for meeting up before the drive.

 

I'll have to see if Doc is up for a Day run checked google maps and it about 3 hrs. away. But I do know he wants to go to Solvang!!! So thats a plus!

 

I put in for the time off work yesterday. Looks like me and the kid are in. We are hoping to stay in our timeshare in Solvang. I am getting her new HHR t-shirt ready this week.

We are always ready for a road trip, anyone have a possible route figured out yet? Start time and location? It's been years since we were down in that area. Roundtrip for us would be 436 miles (plus cruzin miles!) but oh so worth it (Thats less than $35.00 in fuel)

It will be nice to finally meet the So-Cal folks, Cathy and I were not able to make the last trip down to Tom's Farm with Kevin and Bonnie. Hey Kevin, are you guys to meet at our house super early on that Saturday morning and caravan(panelvan) our way down? Not sure yet if we are staying the nite on Saturday nite or not. How about you guys? What are your plans?

 

I'm really pushing Doc to go on this one, so when are your guys leaving? I mapquested it, it takes about 3 hrs. Do you want to caravan up? I don't think we will be able to stay over though.

 

We'are planning on going up on Friday.

 

I know will meet at your place (it's always your place, ) and drive down from there! I'm think'n also that Dianah and Dyline might cruise over to our area and we can drive down from there! Haven't heard yet but Connie, Joeseph and Rachael may be a possibility !
