The Boyd open house is the second Saturday of every month. My main motivation to go now is they have a drawing for a $500 off coupon for a set of Boyd wheels every month. I have my eye on a set of Junkyard Dog's for the panel. I will post a message as the next one approaches.

waht are the hours for boyd's open house. i watch their tv show and would like to check out the shop and cars.

I will post a reminder next month before the open house. The hours are 9-12 on the second Saturday of the month. I would love to have a swarm of HHR's show up next month.

By the way there were 2 HHR's and a PT in the back of his shop with some PT Bob woody kits on them.

Oh, Cheri...I totally forgot to tell you...Later that day while going home, I saw a bunch of cars at old town Anaheim. I stopped in, and it was the end of the "Great American Race" it went from North Carolina to Anaheim and ended sat. afternoon. It was great, I herd of "woodies" were there, many more, I band, food, old cars, it was great.....and of course...I forgot my camara!! Todd

 

I just found a site that has some great pics from the Moon BBQ last month. (I forgot my camera!) I couldn't spot any of the HHR's that were there but this will give you an idea of what it was like. There are definitely some hardcore hot rodders around So-Cal.
