Who else was effected by the blackout?

We didn't get power back until 130 (230?). Sucked no internet no cell phone. Sat in the driveway in my car listening to the news - next time I'll be better prepared.

 

The news this morning said it was some problem with a major substation in Vegas, it tripped off line and when they tried to reset it, everything went dark. You never know how much your life depends on electricity until the juice stops flowing.

 

Daryl, we were ok here. I was thinking of you, hope you didn't lose everything out of the freezer. It had to be over 12 hours, parents OK? Todd (Uma)

 

Power came back up around 0130 was hoping it would've been longer as the authorities were advising us to stay off the roads until power would come up. It would've been nice to a 3 day weekend.


It was like a party situation people were BBQ'ing in the front yards ( we didn't BBQ ). It was like an all night block party.
