I would love to do this, but it all depends on the date (and if we have to go move my Motherinlaw). For me, July 19, and August 9, 16th, and 23rd are the bad dates.

I adore drive-ins!!

This sounds really cool! Someone decide on a date and we will put it on the calender.

Okay all this talk about drive-ins, so we went last night! And Don there were many people sitting outside of their cars in lawnchairs, so we should not have any problems! Many vans backed in and opened the hatch to watch the movie that way. So we should have a great time!!!

I only have the 19th open. I know this is in the evening, but i am in class until 3-4 in Long Beach (i was lucky to get out at 3 today!). I hate rushing.

Went to Cisco's (Jesse James's burger place in Long Beach) after school today--it is a cool little place, burgers were GREAT, but they are only open until 4.00 every day--so an evening there is a no go .

But would highly recommend them for a good burger! Yum! Fries are REALLY good too!

@ngelita

Oh I vote for the 19th!

well, if i get my days off approved (still haven't heard, lazy-a$$ managers), i'm in for the 19th. and since i'll have the 19th and 20th off (if i get them) i don't plan to come home til monday some time, so if anyone would like to do a follow-up sunday to Ciscos for burgers, i'd be game!

Go for it, gang. Who knows, I might be able to make it if my back isn't up to Hearst Castle tours. You guys have been bandying about that date for a while...do it!
