Well back from the dealer it runs alot better now..no more CEL baro code is gone for now, they rotated the tires reset the TPMS, changed the oil, I feel like a new man...LOL we'll see how long it stays like this.

Well, new transmission (5 speed) at aroung 12,000 miles due to a noise in the final drive. Also, I have been back to the dealership twice for a CEL. I don't remember the codes, but they were for "random missfires" and "missfire on cylinder 4". They replaced the #4 coil pack the first time and the #4 injector the second.
Hopefully all is well now.

TPMS both rear tires, now RF is giving me grief but the dealership says they cant duplicate the problem. I have made several attempts to get them to change the damn sensor and reflash but they apparently have a giant stick where their brown eye used to be located. They refuse to do anything about it. I even had the problem happen only 3 miles from them so I drove it there, physically POINTED OUT the SVC tire monitor sys light and flipped through my DIC to make sure he knew it was the RF sensor and all he said was hmm ok lets make an appointment. I live in siberia wisconsin so its not like theres 2394872394827394 GM dealers readily available. Not to mention I work from 7 - 7 Mon-Fri... I swear I'm going to do the work myself pretty soon and just jumper the wires w/ a resistor. : )
PS. I have experienced no other issues as of late. But I do have a aftermarket GMRC stage tune and I'm just waiting for the sensors to start failing one by one by one as I'm currently running 23-24 psi...
Other than that? This car has been great. Seeing about 26 mpg's on a regular basis, shifts smooth, runs smooth... a bit rough when she's cold due to the rich conditions on cold starts but hey. You'll have that.

Blown turbo coolant bypass, no parts available, 19 days at the dealer for a 45min fix. All is well now, but I dread any further problems since it seems like they can never get the part quickly for our cars. GM did take care of the rental and the dealership was pretty good about keeping me informed, so I guess overall I am satisfied.

Interior rattles and clunking while shifting are the only things that really bother me about my SS.
Oh, and the lack of traction in 1st. This is not the car to buy if you want to win stoplight races without massive wheelspin and attention-getting tire squeal. If I launch without spinning the tires, it doesn't feel much faster than my old SE-R Spec V which had 175 hp. Of course once second gear kicks in, it starts to feel much quicker but around town, that's already well over the speed limit

Hey RocketBuss, on the TPMS that is acting up, did you try taking a cellphone pic to show the service advisor when you go for an appt? That's what I did with mine, and my dealer replaced two sensors based on the pictures I had of the intermittant problems. Good luck.
