You have to have a HPTuners interface licensed for the vehicle/VIN to load a HPT tune.

Ddin't know that actually. I just know that remote tuning through HPT is one of, if not the most common ways of tuning in the Cobalt world.

I installed the zzp stage 3 turbo kit (s256) on my 08 ss last march. After many ups and downs (installation pains) the kit has about 3k on it. The tuning was the key to making it drivable. I used hp tuners($450) and cobaltss.net's Term2($400) to remote tune over 5 or 6 weeks as march weather didn't cooperate. In the end I got what I was after, as the car is not a daily driver, but a fair weather weekend track and car show toy. 25lbs boost/405whp
