I am considering getting an after market turbo for my 2008 2.0 SS. Does anyone have any suggestions? I apologize if this is in the wrong area to post.

 

There are options, TurboTechRacing, Hahn Racecraft, ZZP have upgrade kits

 

If it's the stock exhaust it shouldn't be all that loud. May be a leak. Cracked manifold, broken flex pipe, hole in downpipe, and so on. May be they substituted a catless downpipe. May be they gutted the cat. They stock muffler is 2 1/2” diameter, straight through. The only real sound dampening from the muffer is because of some holes in the pipe inside the muffler. Maybe and aftermarket exhaust system has been installed. They're typically 3" diameter, and loud.
