No Lift is an SS thing..... Yours won't have it.

 

Another way to tell for us who have '08 models before the performance package was offered, simply look at the silver sticker in the glovebox for RPO code G85. Some '08 models have LSD before Brembo brakes were offered as a package deal with it. I've left double stripes on many back roads when I first got my SS using the NLS method.

 

But do I have a shift light? never noticed it if I do

 

Ive left those too but still didnt have LSD until my trans took a crap on me and i replaced it with one with LSD.. I was told that the only way you have LSD is with the brembos cus there are 08s with them. I could be wrong though

 

do they (GM) make a manual LSD? i mean a 5-Speed with LSD?

 

Only way to get a LSD is on the 5 speed SS. I have seen a couple of 2008 SS's with the LSD without Brembos. In 2008, they were two seperate options you could order. Starting in 2009, they were bundled together as the performance package and you couldn't just order one.
