Don't forget the 'Quote' button. And don't get me started about posting from a phone. The voice to text that everybody uses, and then they don't even look before they post, to see if it says what they want it to say!

I always type on my IPhone 6 , never liked the voice command to text .
I always use the view full site , not the app.
I sometimes slip and hit the Post Quick Reply, by mistake , I usually catch it and edit the post.

regarding knuckles and lower control arms

hello to all who helped me.
l hope l am doing the right thing, but l found a pair of lower control arms from Amazon for an amazing price of $70 for the pair.
l checked, and they say it does fit the fe5 suspension and the ss 2.0 turbocharged.
l will know on Monday if they are a fit or not.
thanks again for the help

Ah, those won’t be correct for the SS ball joints

Posting a link to them and asking if they are the right ones might save you a lot of problems. Too many parts lists are not correct when it comes to parts for the SS model.

70 bucks for a pair sounds totally reasonable - NOT!!! This is sounding more like a troll than anything believable.

The SS ball joints are not available individually.

Control Arms
- GM - P/N: 25930724 - Right

Steering Knuckles
GM P/N 25923941 Right
GM P/N 25923942 Left
Robert, there are no correct control arms or ball joints from the aftermarket, the part numbers I gave are the only option you have.

I have not researched steering knuckles, so I don't know what is available aftermarket(I would guess nothing). As far as I know, you are the only one who has had to replace them.

If you run with the wrong control arm/ball joint, you will need to replace them...

Buy the GM parts, there are no substitutes that fit right. Learned the hard way here...
