Bpv stuck code

Hey guys
anyone ever get the stuck bpv code after installing a new aftermarket bpv. I installed the Zzp billet bpv and it works great it just throws a check engine light every so often. Contacted Zzp and they told me to bypass the vacuum res I did that and no more code at least for the moment.

Codes have numbers not names. Pxxxx etc. Every code reader might have a different name/description, the numbers are constant.

There are a number of search results here on the site for that code.

Here is a part of the description of what the BPV and tank do. Maybe, the ZZP part does not need the instant source.

Thanks I bypassed the tank and so far no code so it might be a missus with the tank. Going to drive it a few days and see what happens.

I had P2261. Once. Just watched the boost for awhile. Went away. Never saw it again.

I ran the Forge Motorsports aluminum bypass valve for many years on my SS. Never any codes or problems using their “yellow” spring setup.
Does the ZZP come with different springs you could try ?

yes it comes with 4 springs a green yellow blue and red. I currently have the pre installed green spring. They said this is best for stock setup. I did contact them and they told me to bypass the vacuum tank so I did and so far no codes. It didn’t do this with the stock bpv.
