A/C problem
Duct outlet temp is dependent on ambient humidity and temperature, in that order. At this point, I think the compressor was probably replaced for no reason, and would be concentrating on airflow through the condenser, or more likely, an electrical issue with the high pressure sensor.
Very true spozo. I'm old school and still keep my pocket thermometer stored in one of my car's AC ducts. 40-45 range is usually noted while my car is in motion.(airflow through condensor, higher AC pump pressure)
I also live in a high temp, very high humidity area. I think that B Diggity's quote of 55 degrees is either at stationary idle or he's got other problems.

Kay forgot to update.
They replaced the compressor. Yay. Worked for one day.
I haven't seen the a/c clutch enguage/disenguage. And now, when I touch the gas pedal, it feels and sound like power steering pump is bad. Buut there is no ps on here. Won't be back in shop til friday.
really getting tired of it being broken lol. It does blow cold air, prolly 55° air. But that whine is bad. Maybe the belt?

Yea at jupiter chevy. N to the rest, I agree. Hopefully they figure it out today. N they replaced the compressor due to it blowing out the freon. But I do think something else is causing the problem.
Edit
Due to the recent weather down here, its not wanting to act up at all. So next day its warm they hopefully then can figure it out

this may sound dumb but check the radiator cooling fan and make sure it turns on when the a/c is switched on. My friends wife had the compressor changed and the problem started again. stop and go traffic, Yes it was burnt wires / connector to the fan. I cut out the jumper and problem solved.
There should be a recall for the jumper / extension wires... it's just poor customer service not to.
