clutch replacement, my story. what to know
so u got a ss 5 speed. mine started slipping at around 90k.
if ur going to do the clutch do the slave and slave cylinder.
make sure the clutch and flywheel are a pefect same company match. hard to find and expensive.
also consider lower control arms.
all these parts will set u back 1000 bucks. then installation. this will get u about another 100k
these transmissions are unique and will present many issues.
feel free to add your comments or story and of coarse the GM parts oem replacement will be twice a s much as aftermarket which may not be specific to our transmission. i went aftermarket and it was not a smooth process.
