dark black around the relatively new spark plugs

Let's see what the other cylinders say, but I'm guessing you're heading to a leak down test.

Have you tried a "wet" test yet? That's usually good for diagnosing rings.

All cylinders 130psi. Pour 5w30 into each spark plug hole?

yes, 130/135 psi

Pour a couple of tablespoons of 5W30 into each spark plug hole and do the compression test again
the rings might be carboned and sticking

Everything says this thing is running very rich at high vacuum if not all the time. Wonder if it had a tune you didn’t know about. Wonder if it is an E85 ro E47 tune. (I have no idea how to figure that out.)

Your car doesn’t by any chance have blue MAP sensors or a “premium 91 only” sticker at the fuel cap, does it?

Now I’d want to look at the injectors and see if they’re stock. Also maybe use you bluetooth dongle and app to chart fuel pressure, a/f, and 02 voltage all together while making white smoke.

The white smoke did seem to appear more when I put 91 in it...but I don't know how relative that is. I haven't been driving it hard at all. I hit 3k a few times and 4k once or twice.

How do I do that?

I swapped the oil for 10-40 with 1 quart of Lucas oil stabilizer and the smell went away and most of the exhaust smoke did too...hmm...might be rings?

Did you do the table spoon compression test?
Yes the rings might be carbined and sticking

Add a tablespoon of oil to to each cylinder before compression test? Not yet.

this might be a dumb question but is the turbo hooked up to an oil line? Or just coolant?

The turbo has an oil passage and return line
