Reading post #6 and post #9, what's the correct story here ?

Sorry, but it's a little hard to try and help you if you change the info around.

#9 is correct. As I said, I misspoke. I had to verify with the mechanic. Sorry

Also, the high pressure pump has been changed. I now have 3 Delco pumps and all three perform the same. Testing ohms all three are the same. I don't see how it can be the pump itself.

As stated before, it's a mechanical pump. It might be electrically controlled and metered, but it builds it's pressure mechanically.

Has anyone thought to pull the valve cover and take a look ?

Yes pulled the valve cover and all looks ok. The cam lobe doesn't appear to have any damage and is turning. Doesn't this point to an electronic issue? The chevy mechanic says no but yet he has no idea how to fix my car in almost a month.

Hmmm. Not too confident in the above wording.

If the dealer can't figure it out, it's time to bump it up the Chevrolet customer service line. Get a Chevrolet rep involved.

Sorry I can't offer any more help. Trying to do an internet guess on this one is a little hard. Especially trying to get info from a middleman and not the actual person working on the car. Sorry, but that's just a fact.
