Question Hello and call for help

Hello All,
I'm hoping that some of you may be able to recommend a good HHR SS savvy wrench in the metro-Boston area. The service staff at my local chevy dealer, while nice enough people, aren't getting my problems fixed. I have several:
1) Spurious complaints from the hydraulic system that cause all related systems to complain. It's acting as if the brake fluid is low even though it's full. This happens after running for a while, not right away.
2) Intermittent engine performance issues. Can be fine one minute and in "limp mode" the next, then back again.
3) General gremlins in electrical system. E.g. intermittent access to cruise control, or windows or sunroof doing funny things like going almost all the way closed then opening again when trying to close.
4) Most recently, trouble starting - sounds like fuel pump not supplying fuel, then it works and runs fine.
They already replaced the body control module and reflashed the ecu. No change.
In short, it's got gremlins that are driving me nuts. The problems do not in general seem to be mechanical, but electrical. Anybody know a good wrench around here?

to the forum!

How long have you had your SS, because the list of electrical complaints and their odd lack of interconnections is making me think "flood car".

Hurricane Sandy vehicles are flooding the used car marketplace, and sometimes even Carfax can't catch the damage if the title has been "scrubbed".

Leaving that all aside, have you considered trying another Chevy dealer in your area, some dealers are better than others when it comes to diagnostics...especially when SS models are involved.

I would have the fuse box checked to make sure the halves are mating properly, as a first guess.

"issues" is not very specific, but all of those could be coming from a bad fuse box connection.

And check to be sure all fuses, and relays are seated.
