Low Voltage, does anybody have an answer?
Gosh, at this point I'd have the battery professionally checked and load tested to make 100% sure of its condition.
As stated in a previous post, and in other threads, low voltage on an HHR can cause them to do all sorts of odd things.

I just got the codes
P0 237
P0 107
P0 642
P0452
P0193
The Service Rep did say that he thinks the lower map sensor was hitting the AC compressor and went through a wire.
He said the tech moved it to another place off the IC pipe.
Don't know as I paid the previous Chev dealer that did the install to move the IC up forward with washers so it would clear.
I dig this car, but boy oh boy . . .
Thaks for all of your help.

P0237: Turbocharger Boost Sensor Circuit Low Voltage
P0107: Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor Circuit Low Voltage
P0642: 5-Volt Reference 1 Low Voltage
P0452: Fuel Tank Pressure (FTP) Sensor Circuit Low Voltage
P0193: Fuel Rail Pressure (FRP) Sensor Circuit High Voltage
I would have thought it would be a P0192 (Low Voltage)
Could be a battery, but I think they need to check the new wiring harness connection.

I guess I will try to find time tomorrow to go over and see what they are doing.
I have a long service history with this car and detailed it in 6 pages, with dates, issues, fixes, etc., and prior to going to the dealership for this repair also summarized the install and issues I've had with the Stage 1 kit.
In all fairness when I bought the car and had the stage 1 installed, GM was going through it's change of life and the Santa Monica dealer that did the install was in the process of moving from Chevrolet to Infiniti.
They did a horrible job of the install, but unknown to me, that didn't have a lot of interest in Chevrolet at that point.
I ended up at the only Chevrolet dealer in the west side which is a new dealer in Culver City.
Anyway . . .
The Service Rep glanced at my written report, and left it setting in the car. Maybe his tech read it . . . I don't know.
I'll know more tomorrow.
BTW: I sure wish I had this car in Dallas, because then I could go to Chevy Manager's dealership in Richardson. They have a great service department, but shipping the car there and back doesn't sound like a good option,
though that may be the result.
Thanks everyone and I'll update this thread when I have more information.
I'm with you and understand I'm just reporting what I was told. I had a lot more questions, but the Service Rep had to take "another" call.

Michelle, Chevrolet Customer Service
I picked the car up Thursday afternoon and didn't get to drive it much but it seemed good. Drove a lot last night and it runs great, honestly the most solid and stable it's ever run with no surging, nothing strange, it's almost like a totally different car.
Where they relocated the bottom sensor I don't know until I get it on a lift and look at it, but the service tech that worked on it did a great job and I hope whatever he did lasts because it's so nice to have it feel solid.
Michelle, thank you and Chevy Mgr. for checking in.
Honestly after the Santa Monica dealer* I was losing faith in Chevrolet, but since then the service has been great at Findlay Chev. in Vegas and now at Bunnin in Culver City on the HHR SS, on one other Chevy Reliable in Richardson Texas is also very good.
It has restored my faith in the brand and since I own 3 ss and 4 chevrolets total that's a good thought.
Thank you.
I'll report where he relocated the sensor once I get it on the lift.
Once again,
Thanks
James
*I really can't blame chevrolet for the Santa Monica dealer as when they installed my LNF upgrade they were in the process of switching to Infiniti. I didn't know it, but I guess their motivation wasn't there which is a shame but a reality.
