No offence meant man. It's been kind of a long running joke here at times - sometimes when the thread is brought up again, someone makes a comment about whopper having to go change the oil again. It's all in fun.

Yeah, please don't go away mad, its just one of those deals where instead of letting it get into "argument" territory again, we get a bit irreverent instead.

my SS has been and will continue to be changed in between 3000 to 4000 miles. i know they say it lasts longer, but is it worth $100 or so a year to take a chance? wont hurt anything by changing it earlier.

i dont really pay attention to the oil life monitor

oh and i have no problem answering questions for members if there could be another thread about it. its not like the forum is out of space like a over filled attic. just my opinion
