More boost loss....back to the dealer...again!!!
My car went in on Friday......back in this morning for more testing. They cant find the problem. Tested the mass air flow, the O2's, Intercooler smoke test, vacuum leaks, checked the wires on the map....again......nothing. Tech line is useless. The tech has no clue. They did mention that if I want to start a lemon-law, then I can. Not sure I want to do that or not.....yet. They gave me a data recorder to use to monitor the car, so if and when the issue comes up again, it will be recorded.......My main issue is I am moving to Connecticut in 2 months and will be commuting 30 miles each way....on the parkway.....so I cant have loss of boost/ no power issues when I am on a 2 lane parkway doing 70 + with cars coming up behind me.
Love the car but not the headaches involved with it. I have had GM cars since 1986 and this one is giving the most problems. Its exactly one year old and I have the loan for 4 more years. If I dont lemon law, I will most likely sell it in 1-2 years as I owe too much to sell it just yet. What a shame......

Take the lower IC tube and zip tie it back towards the radiator and see if it stops..if it does have thme recheck the wiring at the lower sensor...have this same situation with mine...i could make it lose power on demand though....
